Dear Sonrise Family,
I have entered a different stage of parenting, one that I was not exactly ready for. Two kids in high school and two in college and after 18 years of having my kids at Sonrise they all officially have moved on. Because of this, I notice that I hold my time with them as precious time. In our family, those moments are dinner time. The time of the day when everyone knows exactly where we will be and even in the midst of busy schedules we find time to make it to the dinner table. Our conversations at the table keep us way past the act of dinner and linger into the evening.
I think this is one of the reasons why I enjoy Fall Pancake Breakfast and Pumpkin Patch so much. It is that time of the year when the Sonrise Family, old and new, can come and spend time together; where you can linger just the perfect amount of time before attending to the rest of your day.
On October 21st, we invite you to come sit, talk, look for the perfect pumpkin, and catch up on each other's lives. The Bible shares with us in Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three gather in my name there I am with them.”
I want to encourage you, Sonrise Family, to come sit with us at our breakfast table and enjoy the time when we can fellowship together!
