Dear Sonrise Families,
One of my hobbies is photography, I love taking pictures and looking back at them. It’s been said that “a picture is worth a thousand words.” Pictures help us remember past events, they are a snapshot into history. Throughout the Bible, God calls us to remember. He wants us to recall what He did on the cross, what He has done in our lives, and His faithfulness.
If you're like me, it can be easy to forget things, I often have to make a list to remind myself of important tasks. I also can lose sight of all God calls me to remember, so it becomes vital to place reminders in my life to recall all God has done.
So as we approach picture week, I pray that we will remember the right things, like spending time with God, listening to Him, and following Him. Psalm 77:11-12 says, “I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago. I will consider all your works and meditate on all your mighty deeds.” May this week be one where we remember all the blessings and promises of the Lord.
