Dear Sonrise Family,
I pray that each of you and your loved ones had a joyful and meaningful Christmas and New Year! What a blessing it is to step into a new year with the assurance that God has already planned and ordered our steps.
For me, letting go of control can be a challenge, but I am so thankful for a God who goes before me, paving the way. This year, I want to focus on a practical resolution inspired by Scripture: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)
This beautiful promise, found in the Old Testament, reminds us that long before we were born—even before Jesus came to Earth—God gave us His assurance. If we trust in Him and rely on His wisdom rather than our own, He will faithfully guide us and make our paths straight. In a world full of uncertainty and chaos, I am deeply grateful to serve a Savior who knows the beginning from the end.
As you begin this new year, I pray that you lean on Christ to deliver, guide, and sustain you in every way. May this year be filled with His peace, joy, and abundant blessings for you and your families.
Happy New Year, and may God bless each of you richly!
Love,
Mrs. Vaughn
