Easter

This weekend is Passover and Palm Sunday, and as I’ve gotten older, I’ve found myself loving Easter more than ever. Out of all the celebrations throughout the year, this one hits different. There’s something about the true story of love, sacrifice, and hope that just stays with you — especially now that I get to share it with my boys.

Lately, I’ve started my mornings with a hot cup of tea, just sitting outside and talking with Jesus. The other day, the sunlight hit the waterfall in our pool just right, making it sparkle, and our flowers looked extra bright. I had this moment where I thought — is this how Jesus sees me? Full of beauty, worth, and love.

At 36, I’m only now beginning to fully grasp how deeply I’m loved by someone not of this world. Now, I get to pass that truth on to my boys — that their worth isn’t defined by the world, but by the One who endured the cross for them.

As we move through these next several weeks leading up to Easter, my prayer for you is that you are reminded of just how deeply you are loved — not only by friends and family but by our Savior. Whatever struggles or pain you may be facing, may you find comfort in knowing that you are special. You are valued beyond measure, and you are never alone.
