Dear Sonrise Families,
Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! I have been praying for your families as you adjust to life as it gets busier during the school year, most especially during the first few weeks. I encourage you to always read through this weekly school newsletter to help prepare for each upcoming week.
It's so easy to get this message and tell yourself that you will go back and read it later when you have a moment; well, you and I both know that moment doesn't always come around. Each week the Eagle Express will contain an opening message by a different teacher or staff member as well as details on important information and upcoming events. It is well worth the few minutes to stop and read it as you prepare for the grind of each week. If you have any questions about items, your classroom teacher or the office is where you will always get the quick answers.
This year will indeed be a year of wonderful growth. As I referenced a few weeks ago, I am not only referring to the increased number of students that God has brought to Sonrise but all the ways we can simply be better parents for our children. One of the toughest responsibilities we have is to financially plan for their college years. I know many of you work hard just to make it through each week or month and can't even begin to think about a decade or more later. We have taken to heart our responsibility as a school to continue offering resources to you.
