Dear Families,
Last week the 4th and 5th grade students performed “We Three Spies”, A Christmas musical. Listening to their precious voices sing about Jesus filled my heart with great joy and reminded me how incredibly blessed I am to be able to teach at a school that not only teaches academics, but teaches Truth. In the show, the children encounter many obstacles and are faced with losing their Christmas decorations and gifts. The children realize that Christmas is not about the “stuff” we have, but it’s about Jesus, our Lord and Savior. As we prepare for Christmas this year, we will undoubtedly be surrounded by lots of “stuff”. Decorations, gifts, food, and more-”stuff” is everywhere! I pray that while we are enjoying the “stuff” of Christmas, we don’t forget that the greatest gift we’ve ever received is Jesus. May God bless your family this Christmas season.
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6
Love,
